Does Csu Have A Pre Vet Program
THIS WEBSITE IS FOR CSU STUDENTS PURSUING CAREERS AS VETERINARIANS – CSU’S VETERINARY PROGRAM IS LINKED BELOW Overview A veterinarian is a professional who practices veterinary medicine by treating diseases, disorders, and injuries in animals. Preparing to apply to a professional veterinary medicine program takes careful planning and hard work. The pre-veterinary requirements include a total of 60 semester credits that must be completed prior to admission to the DVM program. Students may apply prior to completing all prerequisite requirements; however, in order to assure the most competitive application, one is encouraged to have the majority of the prerequisites completed at the time of application. Pre-health advising at CSU is not a major or degree program.
Rather, it offers one-on-one expert guidance to undergraduate students who plan to apply to health profession programs upon graduation. This could include medical school, dental school, physician assistant school, nursing school, and many other areas of healthcare.
